​At Civic Imagination Lab, we explore big ideas through creative methods. As consultants and facilitators, we bring a unique lens to civic engagement — blending arts-based approaches, systems thinking, and participatory design to spark new ways of seeing and shaping the world around us.

​Our Mission: To cultivate spaces for collective imagination and transformative design that empower youth to re-envision futures rooted in radical joy, care, belonging, and equity.

Our Vision: A world where imagination is a civic practice, where policy is accessible and liberatory, and where youth co-create futures grounded in equity, joy, and ecological harmony.

Our work centers around three interconnected themes that guide how we show up — in communities, institutions, and public spaces:
1. World-Building
We apply foresight tools like scenario planning, speculative design, and horizon scanning to help communities imagine and prepare for just futures.
3. Creative & Arts-Based Programming
From digital zines to intergenerational workshops and participatory installations, we create space for radical storytelling and collective inquiry.
2. Policy Literacy
Through hands-on workshops, policy hackathons, and co-designed prototypes, we demystify public policy and invite people to shape the systems that affect their lives.

The Belonging Studio
A mobile storytelling and co-creation hub that brings pop-up labs to schools, libraries, and community spaces, using deep listening, creative prompts, and worldbuilding to foster connection and reimagine systems of care. Our first Pop-Up Immersive for Youth was held on October 3. Learn more here.
